The Pacific Diver 3120 Series is a relatively new addition to the Luminox SEA collection. This stylish dive watch is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and stays true to the Luminox brand with its durable stainless steel case and unique CARBONOX bezel. The combination of these materials creates a visually striking and attention-grabbing timepiece.

Now Luminox has added a chronograph to the series . Usually, chronograph watches are designed as racing watches rather than diving watches, as the chronograph buttons are a weak point in terms of water resistance. As you can see from the pictures, these buttons are not screwed down. Luminox has achieved proper sealing by using special gaskets or O-rings. These seals are made of materials such as rubber or silicone, which are highly resistant to water. When the button is pressed, the gasket compresses, forming a tight seal that prevents water from entering the watch. This design allows the watch to be water resistant up to 20 bar. Although the watch is water resistant, it is generally recommended though that the chronometer buttons are not pressed when the watch is submerged in order to maintain its water resistance.

What could be better:

It would be much more convincing as a dive watch if the chronograph buttons were also screwed-in.
