Briston, a renowned French watchmaker, has taken a bold leap by introducing the Streamliner Adventure line of watches that defy conventional notions of stetics. These timepieces have embraced a unique charm that transcends the ordinary with its Streamliner Adventure collection. These watches are so ugly that they are becoming a symbol of unconventionality.

Defying conventional notions of beauty

The Streamliner Adventure watches proudly display their quirkiness with its unconventional shape and materials: Their cases, available in various colour and material combinations, are made from a mix of acetate and stainless steel, resulting in an eccentric blend of textures and colours, and an analog-digital display, reminiscent of the quartz revolution watches of the early eighties.

What we like:

  • Retro, unconventional design
  • Colour and material combinations

What could be better:

  • The $360 price-tag is, for the rather standard quality of materials and watch features, although not excessive, a bit on the high side.

About Briston Watches

After working in the watchmaking industry for 15 years, at Premium brands like Baume & Mercierand Raymond Weil , Brice Jaunet decided to launch his own line of watches  that reflected his personality, his ideas, and his research.

He associated with a group of Swiss designer friends in order to develop exquisite, genuine, and reasonably priced timepieces.

The sporty and slightly offbeat character of the Briston brand is a result of his time as an Oxford University student, his love of sports, and his penchant for travel.
